Kids are so resilient! I am amazed at how much better her bruises are this morning. If it had been me, I'd be bruised for a week!

Kids are resilient… My best friends little boy fell off a chair and actually bit his bottom lip off (clear off) and the next day (and about 70 stitches later) it was all we could do to keep him from wrestling! Glad your little one is OK…

That is so scary! I remember when my first daughter fell all the way down the stairs, and I was right there! They are amazing when they are little, though...they just fall. We try to catch ourselves, and get really hurt in the process!

oh noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! soooo glad she is okay. This just happened to us too a week ago but nothing so major. Visiting my sister and my son is not used to stairs at all. I let him try to walk down (he was doing well) and I misjudged letting him be just a foot ahead of me and he tumbled down, doing a sumersault. He freaked out but no scraped or bruises. Luckily it was carpeted. But i freaked out too. When that happens in movies people die you know, I was expecting him to have a broken neck or arm or something!!!

Amen to that! It is amazing how much their little bodies can withstand. I swear my 19 month old is testing out how many times she can fall before she gets a concussion or breaks something else (yes she has already broken her wrist). I am a cautious mom and watch them as much as I can and they still get hurt. I'm so glad O is ok. She is a cute little thing!
