I have the perfect easy method for weeding out those drawers without any work at all. Just take the contents of the drawer and dump it into a box and leave it on the counter. As you use things, wash them and put them back into the drawer. At the end of the month, anything that is still sitting in the box is something you probably don't really need.

Also works for clothes. Turn all your hangers around backwards. When you wear something, wash it and put it back on a frontwards hanger. At the end of a few months, you are ready to painlessly declutter your closet.

If you'd like more decluttering tips, pop by my blog. I have "Clutterbugs" posts every Monday and Friday.

We have a junk drawer too-I feel better about it if it gets cleaned out a couple times a year. Other than that I ignore it...

I think we are on the same wavelength today, I just took pictures of my "junk" drawers to do a future post! Glad to see other people have these kinds of drawers too!

I can imagine the one handed, toddler holding, cooking experience is not an easy one. I love the pictures. I know the sippy cup drawer has always been a favorite of my kids when they come over. Funny how out of all of the drawers and cupboards, they find and remember that one!
