This year, my husband cleaned the house and my car for Mothers Day. It was way better than anything he could have wrapped. Too bad it didn’t last. It’s Tuesday and it looks like a bomb went off again!

Ahh, Grasshoppers(reference to 70′s TV show) it takes many years to train the husband to clean the kitchen and make meals on Mother’s Day! Every year one must make the same request, “I really just want a day off, with dinner made and dishes done.” and then there will come a year when he gets your children to do it because they are finally big enough. Have faith, it can happen!

I feel like that after every weekend. Some how on the weekend everything gets piled up and left to do on Monday…so I plan a day at home usually to get everything done… or at least think about getting things done.

Wow, even so, your house looks better than mine. Like I told you earlier, my house looks like it got the stomach flu too. I think if my husband cleaned the house on Mother’s Day that would be about the best gift in the world he could give me. A day when I don’t have to play maid and can have a clean house anyway. Oh well, there will always be time for clean house later right?

I got the mess of dishes and LOTS of laundry. I had about 10 loads to put away and my son decided to turn them into a carpet and then my dog turned them into a bed. I get to spend the rest of the week re-washing laundry. Grrrr
