Our basement is where everything we don't know what to do with or don't have room for goes. Ours is seriously embarrassing. At least it is out of sight, mostly. Look at little E up on that table. We don’t have a basement but my whole house is a huge mess! I’ve been working extra hours is my excuse but honestly, I’m a clutter-er at heart. I have dust bunnies that have mutated into dust Godzillas. That is the plan of attack for this afternoon.

MY MESS is being attacked by me!! I’ve been like a little whirlwind today. I got three of the kids rooms done today. Seriously, C-boy had a whole garbage bag of TRASH in his room! ANd no…it wasn’t in the garbage. He is such a pack rat! Ugh!!

Your basement looks a lot like my old basement. lol I love that you posted those photos and just put it on out there. My 7-year old cut her own hair 2 years ago and it’s still growing back! lol

That’s funny, our basement is the place where “things” go too! Sometimes they don’t even make it to the basement, they sit at the top of the basement stairs behind the door, ready for me to trip over! Sheesh.

I keep baskets in the laundry room to toss clothes in downstairs since the girls’ rooms are up the second floor. Kate will carry them to laundry room no problem, but then just tosses her PJs on the floor. So, I understand kids’ “interpretation” of our requests.

Your basement reminds me of my garage! We haven’t parked in it since we moved in. In OCTOBER! There are 9,000 boxes and stuff strewn everywhere and for a while, I claimed it was too cold to go through it all. And now, I’m claiming the heat as my excuse not to deal with it.
And I adore the expression on your little hair dressers face! So funny! I once cut my own hair and then got scared and didn’t know what to do with it, so I stuffed it in my dad’s boots. It was like July, and months later when he put them on, I think it almost gave him a heart attack!
