I think head strong kids are born leaders! Love that she got herself dressed! I could never keep Mack in diapers. He'd hide and take them off constantly. I finally had to put them on backwards so he wouldn't be able to untape them. They didn't work quite as well, but at least they were on!

I get so flabbergasted by these moments. That battle of wills can be so frustrating.

My 7yo daughter is finally catching on to the "matching" idea for her clothing but there were days when she would go to school looking absolutely ridiculous. Even yesterday she wore her soccer shirt to school when she has a closet full of cute clothes. Silly girl.

I heard a great idea the other day. A mom was saying how her daughter had developed very specific ideas about which clothes she wanted to wear, which would not always match. Tired of stressing about what people thought when her daughter decided to wear polka dots and plaid, she bought some dot stickers and wrote "I dressed myeslf" on them. Child being rewarded for doing a task on her own, Mom not embarrassed when the shirt is worn inside out.

I thought it was great. There are so many "I ____ myself" moments you could use this for.
