Chilling and poetic-- love!

I liked how in so few words you created the tension and the empathy that we'd need to keep rooting for the characters!

I loved this. Flowed wonderfully. And the end...a bit of a cliffhanger I think :)

This is very well done. Very well written, I love the imagery you use throughout the piece.

The only concrit I have for you is here: "With thoughts swirling around in her head like wind, she crumpled the paper once again, dug the key out of her pocket and shoved it into the car door."

Because you use the wind so much throughout this piece, I think using a different word here would make this sentence have more power, more imagery. You could use butterflies, snow, tumbleweed, many other words here and give it a little more strength.

Again, I really enjoyed this piece, and the ending is sad. it really is hard to help an addict.

You wrote this piece so well and true to life. it is hard to tell an addict you will not help. We are often enablers, I have been anyway. Loved the details. Visiting from TRDC
