Oh, and the time my boyfriend locked himself out of his work truck at a gas station and was stranded there for 3 hours after he was supposed to be home until someone came to bring him a spare. Being locked out of your car stinks! I'm stopping by from Mama Kat's. Yay for wasting gas! Oh and the other time I didn't have a cell phone (it was before everyone had one...yes, I'm old lol) and I had to knock on some poor lady's door and ask to call a locksmith! That sinking feeling. Even when we actually have our keys but can't find them immediately, we have moments of panic. On the night of our first date, my future husband called to tell me he was running late. He was too embarrassed to tell me he has locked himself out of his car and had to jump through hoops before finally arriving at my door. If he had just called, I could have easily rescued him, but he didn't want to appear to be totally incompetent on our first date.
