I hate to laugh because if that were me I would SO not be laughing, but this story cracked me up. 1) I give you serious credit for wrangling all the kiddos by yourself that day while your husband went to the gym (right before Thanksgiving dinner??). 2) I give you even more credit for the brute force it must take to get that van loaded and actually going. 3) "pumpkin-handsanitizing-puke" and a lot of breathing through your mouths?? I was laughing out loud. :) Oh my gosh! It is one of those things that is so horrible and so frustrating, but looking back on it, becomes hilarious. I hope next Thanksgiving is much less eventful and much more enjoyable! HAhahaha! If it makes you feel any better, the day after Christmas, on our way home from my in-laws, I puked all over the passenger seat of the car. We also had another 1 1/2 drive left and I felt so miserable. After much scrubbing, the car still sometimes smells a little yucky. Ack! That sounds awful.
